Paraprofessional

  • $24 per hour, with weekly pay

Responsibilities;

  • Behavior Management: Create a safe learning environment by assisting the classroom teacher in implementing behavior implementation plans and reinforcing positive student behavior.
  • Progress Monitoring: Support the classroom teacher by tracking and reporting student progress and behaviors.
  • Supervision: Provide supervision during recess, lunch, and transitions to maintain a safe, engaging environment.
  • Academic Support: Aid students' achievement of their IEP goals by providing them with additional, individualized support in a 1:1 or small group setting. This includes modifying or adapting classroom materials as needed.

Requirements;

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 months experience working with students with IEPs or in the SPED program.
  • Communication: Must have strong collaborative relationships with teachers, staff, and other key stakeholders necessary for student success.
  • Values-driven: Passion for Special Education and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
