Physical Education Teacher

Responsibilities;

  • Lesson Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging, grade-appropriate instruction that encourages students to participate in physical fitness and understand its lifelong benefits.
  • Classroom Management: Develop and maintain a safe, positive, and respectful learning environment by clearly communicating expectations and promoting good sportsmanship.
  • Engagement: Engage students by encouraging their participation in a variety of physical activities, sports, games, and fitness routines.
  • Student Support: Provide students with timely feedback, technique adjustments, and alternative activities as needed.

Requirements;

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field required. Credential or Emergency 30-day Substitute Permit is highly desired.
  • Experience: Prior experience working with children grades K-12 required. Previous experience teaching physical education or coaching preferred.
  • Content Knowledge: Strong knowledge of physical fitness, health education, and sports required. An ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities highly preferred.
  • Enthusiasm: Passionate about student achievement with a strong commitment to helping students thrive in their own health and physical fitness journeys.
