Responsibilities:

  • Behavioral Support: Implement evidence-based intervention strategies to support students in maintaining positive behaviors in both classroom and 1:1 settings.

  • Crisis Management: Respond appropriately to behavioral incidents, supporting de-escalation and ensuring student and staff safety.

  • IEP Implementation: Assist in executing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and tracking student progress toward behavior-related IEP goals.

  • Collaboration: Partner with teachers, school staff, and behavior specialists to develop a consistent, student-centered approach.

  • Data Collection: Monitor and document student behaviors, interventions used, and outcomes to inform decision-making.

  • Student Engagement: Foster a supportive relationship with students to build trust, boost confidence, and promote lasting behavior change.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's in Education, Psychology, or related field preferred.

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with behavioral challenges or in Special Education settings.

  • ABA Experience: Minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques in a school or clinical setting is required.

  • Skills: Strong communication, patience, and the ability to de-escalate challenging behaviors in a calm, respectful manner.

  • Values-Driven: A deep commitment to supporting students with behavioral needs and a belief in every child's potential.

  • References: 3 professional references, including at least one supervisor, to highlight your qualifications and strengths.
