What You'll Do:

  • Teach middle school General Science, focusing on engaging and comprehensive instruction.

  • Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons across various science disciplines (e.g., Earth, Life, Physical Science).

  • Foster inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in all students.

  • Support diverse learners in an inclusive classroom setting.

  • Collaborate with administrators, staff, and families to support student success.

  • Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback.

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Science OR a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with significant experience teaching middle school science (required).

  • Comfort with hands-on activities, projects, and technology integration.

  • Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
