Position Overview
The Middle School Spanish Teacher will deliver flexible, standards-aligned instruction that fosters proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. What You'll Do
Teach middle school Spanish courses aligned to California World Language Standards
Develop and implement engaging, student-centered lesson plans
Promote cultural awareness and real-world language application
Foster student confidence in communication and language acquisition
Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners in an inclusive classroom
Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families
Assess student progress and provide meaningful, timely feedback
Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and community engagement
What We're Looking For
Valid California Teaching Credential
Single-Subject Credential in Spanish or
Multiple Subject Credential with Spanish authorization
Bilingual (Spanish/English required)
Experience teaching Spanish at the middle school level preferred
Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
Passion for culturally responsive instruction and student engagement
