What You'll Do:

Step into K-12 classrooms and keep learning on track:

  • Lead students through provided lesson plans or create your own engaging activities
  • Maintain a productive, respectful classroom environment
  • Provide continuity and care when regular teachers are absent
  • Leave helpful notes for returning teachers

Qualifications:

✓ Bachelor's degree required (any major)
✓ At least six months of recent experience working with children/teens in any capacity (teaching, tutoring, coaching, childcare, mentorship, youth programs, etc.)
✓ Must hold a 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit OR be willing to obtain one
✓ Provide three references:

  • Two professional references from a recent supervisor
  • One character reference from someone who knows you personally

You'll Stand Out If You:

  • Have strong classroom management skills and experience handling challenging behaviour
  • Lead a classroom with empathy and tackle challenges with a swift, thoughtful approach
  • Adapt easily to fast-paced, ever-changing environments
  • Create engaging lessons that are fun, creative, and out-of-the-box
  • Bring strong classroom presence and confidence
