What you'll do:

Step into 6-12th grade STEM classrooms and keep learning moving forward:

  • Foster students' interest in the STEM fields by planning and/or delivering fun and standard-aligned lessons filled with experiments, demonstrations, and interactive activities.
  • Develop and maintain a safe, positive, and respectful classroom environment by clearly communicating and enforcing classroom expectations.
  • Engage students by encouraging curiosity, providing choice in activities, and allowing space for group collaboration.
  • Provide students with timely feedback and aid their understanding of challenging concepts with multimedia resources.

Qualifications:

✓ Valid California Credential in Mathematics or Science required
✓ Open to teaching grades 6-12
✓ Experience working with middle or high school students preferred
✓ Commitment to inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, and problem-solvers
