What you will do:

Step into the middle school classroom and lead the way in math instruction:

  • Deliver engaging math lessons to students in grades 6-8

  • Implement existing curriculum while bringing unique perspectives to the classroom

  • Maintain a productive, respectful, and organized learning environment

  • Track student progress and collaborate with department colleagues

  • Foster a positive classroom culture centered on mathematical growth

Qualifications:

  • Single-Subject Math Credential required

  • Experience with middle school students in a teaching, tutoring, or mentorship capacity

  • Strong understanding of middle school math concepts (Algebra, Geometry, Ratios, etc.)

  • Commitment to supporting student success and closing achievement gaps

  • Valid California teaching credential or eligibility for an Emergency Permit
